Lee Hruska Obituary

Lee Alan Hruska, age 63, late of Blue Island. Cherished husband of the late Geraldine Alaniz; beloved father of Lee Jr. (Melissa) of Tomah WI, Melanie Buckley (Mike) of New Port Richey FL, Armando of Kenosha WI, Matt of Bourbonais IL and Kristin Bakalik (Bob) of White Pine MI; loving grandfather of Landon, Morghyn, Logan, Mia, Marissa, Joseph, Jason, Armando, Larkin, Savannah, Camdyn, Alanna, Hailey, Jaxson, and Alexander; brother of Christine Quemeneur (Lou) of Lockport IL, Carl (Nora) of Worth IL, Tina Fobel (Edward) of Bullhead City AZ, and Tippy Johnson (Brad); son of the late Caryl (nee Matson) and Leo Hruska.

Lee was a graduate of Hamlin Heights Elementary in Alsip IL and Eisenhower High School in Blue Island. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, repairing automobiles and building model cars. In addition to his family, Lee leaves behind his faithful dog Harley and is now rejoined with his cherished Lucy. 

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Lee's life will take place on Sunday, February 14th at 12:00 Noon at Gross of Glory Lutheran Church, 14719 West 163rd Street, Homer Glen, IL. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Service will be limited to fifty (50) people.  All visitors must register in advance (see below) in order to attend the Service. In accordance with local, state and national mandates, those entering church are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. The family appreciates your sincere cooperation during these very challenging and difficult times.  If you do not feel well, it is recommended that you stay home and rest.
