James W Sendra

James W Sendra, age 73, lifelong resident of Posen; cherished husband of Mary Ellen nee Jackubowski; beloved father of Michael (Lori) of Las Vegas NV, Mark (the late Kimberly) of Oswego IL, and the late Matthew; loving grandfather of Madison, Nichole, Tiffany, Samantha, Tyler, Stephanie and Trenton; and great-grandfather of Sophia; loving brother of Patricia Sherman (Jim), Dorothy Guendling (Ronald), Tom (Cindy) and the late Stanley Jr. Son of the late Stanley Sr. and Helen nee Gruba.

Jim was a proud graduate of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr School and Bremen High School. He was active in the Posen Civic Center and was employed part-time as a Maintenance Worker for the Village of Posen. A devote parishioner of St. Stan's, Jim was past-President of the Holy Name Society, Chairman and Producer (along with his wife Mary Ellen) of the annual Mardi Gras fundraisers and parish Fiestas, several dinner dances, volunteer for the Fish Fry's, a member of the Smokers, Vigilias Dinners, and an Usher. Among Jim's many talents was his gift for music which he shared with his late son, Matthew. Together they formed a Polka Band and helped coordinate two parish Polka Mass'.

In accordance with Jim's wishes, a private cremation was held. A celebration commemorating his life will be scheduled at a later date. Jim's family is accepting memorial contributions and Masses which may mailed to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home Ltd. 14522 S.
