Virginia Zawisza, 94, longtime resident of Posen, passed away February 20, 2020. Beloved wife of the late John E. Zawisza, Sr.; loving mother of Theresa (William) Johnson, John (Maureen), Christine (William "Ted") Koch and the late Theodore "Teddy"; cherished grandmother of Tamara (Lance) Freeman, Veronica (Greg) Treco, William (Donna) Johnson, Shawn (Yara) Zawisza, Megan (Jay) McDonagh, Ryan (Emily) Zawisza, Lauren (Chad) Grugel, Karl Koch; dearest great grandmother of Lance Jr., John, James, Natalie, Emma, Sarah, Noah, Chloe, Elise, Olivia, Liam, Justin, Tyler, Becca, Estella, Nolan, Ben, Liv, Esme and the late Elizabeth; preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, February 24th, 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church, 14414 McKinley Ave., Posen. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
