Rebeca Torres de Castillo, de 85 años, pasó a vida eterna el 11 de Agosto del 2025. Rebeca nació el 3 de Julio del año 1940 en Cañada Honda, Aguascalientes, México.

Fue la amorosa y noble madre de María de Los Ángeles (Hernandez), Manuel Castillo, Antonio Castillo, Jorge Castillo Torres, Luis Castillo, Rubén Castillo, Norma Castillo Torres (Muñoz), Nora E. Castillo. Es la amorosa abuela de 29 nietos, bisabuela de 18 y tatarabuela. Le sobreviven sus hermanos Manuel y Refugio (Cuco). Y ahora está reunida en la Gloria de Dios con sus hermanos: Elvira, Narciso, Salvador, Maria, Ma. De la Luz, Roberto y Ermila.

A Rebeca le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, escuchar música y adoraba tomar fotos.

El velorio será el Domingo 17 de Agosto de 1:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. en Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home, 14522 S. Western Ave., Posen, IL. La Familia y amigos se reunirán el Lunes 18 de Agosto, desde las 11:00 a.m. en la Iglesia de St. Donatus  Parish, 1939 Union St., Blue Island, IL. La misa comenzará a las 11:30 a.m. y seguido la misa el entierro en el Camposanto de St. Casimir. Rebeca Torres de Castillo, age 85, entered eternal life on August 11, 2025.

Rebeca was born July 3, 1940 in Cañada Honda, Aguascalientes, Mexico and was the loving mother of Maria de Los Angeles (Hernandez), Manuel Castillo, Antonio Castillo, Jorge Castillo Torres, Luis Castillo, Ruben Castillo, Norma Castillo Torres (Muñoz), and Nora E. Castillo. She was the beloved grandmother of 29, great grandmother of 18 and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by her brothers Manuel and Refugio (Cuco). She is now reunited in the glory of God with her siblings: Elvira, Narciso, Salvador, Maria, Ma. De la Luz, Roberto, and Ermila. Rebeca loved spending time with her family, listening to music and cherished taking photos. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home, 14522 S. Western Ave., Posen, IL. Family and friends will meet at St. Donatus Parish, 1939 Union St., Blue Island, IL on Monday, August 18 for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery.
