Llewellyn J. Zilanis

Llewellyn J. "Uncle Lou" Zilanis, age 78, late of Lansing, IL, formerly of Calumet Park. Beloved brother of Joan, the late Clayton and the late Yolanda J; cherished son of Stanley and Yoland (nee Wright); fond uncle Clayton J. Zilanis, great uncle of 10 and great-great uncle of 4. Uncle Lou was a graduate of Chicago's Tilden Technical Institute and spent over 30 years with AT&T as a technician servicing the telecommunication industry throughout Chicagoland. In his free time he enjoyed automobiles and drag racing. He could often be found at the Old US 30 Drag Strip in Merrillville, the US 41 Motorplex in Morocco, Indiana, as well as Great Lakes Dragaway in Parish, Wisconsin outside of Kenosha. In accord with his wishes, a private cremation took place.
