Justin Steven Kurgan

Justin Steven Kurgan, age 43, suddenly. Cherished fiancee of Benae L. Cartright for 19 years; beloved son of Dorothy Kurgan (nee Warszalek) and Frank (Brenda) Kurgan; loving brother of Joshua (Rita), Jason, Charles "Chuck", and Susan Kurgan; fond uncle of Hailey (Kurgan) Miller, Breanna, Morgan, Katelyn, Hannah and Aliceson Kurgan and Cadence, Chloe, Austin and Joanna Cartright, Lilly Goheen, Teddy and Leland Kurgan.

Justin was a devoted family man who enjoyed taking care of his mother and fiancee. He loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. When given the opportunity to share a meal with friends and family, he enjoyed sushi, pizza and traditional cheeseburgers. His personal collections included Assassin's Creed, Lord of the Rings, and dragon gear. His favorite professional sport was football with his favorite being the Chicago Bears. Disciplined in routines, Justin liked to have a plan and stick to it. He was diligent, always on time and present in the moment when he was with others. He really lived in the moment and enjoyed life exactly for what it is. He loved to make people laugh, to smile and always wanted others to be happy.

Professionally, Justin was employed as a ComTech4 technician with Comcast for 21 years.

Resting at the Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home , 14522 S Western Avenue, on Saturday, January 23rd from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 12:00 Noon. Private Interment Holy Cross Calumet City, IL.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Visitation will be limited to only (10) people at any given time.  All visitors entering the funeral home are required to wear a face covering. Due to the number of people who would like to pay their respects, we ask that you make your visit a brief one in order to allow all who would like to attend a chance to do so. The family appreciates your sincere cooperation during these very challenging and difficult times.  If you do not feel well, it is recommended that you stay home and rest.
