David A. Mikrut passed away suddenly on October 18, 2026, in Minooka, Illinois. He was born on August 20, 1965, in Blue Island, Illinois, and will be remembered with love by those who knew him.

David was a talented autobody mechanic who took pride in his work. He was also someone who found joy in simple, familiar pleasures. He enjoyed camping, fishing, working on cars, and spending time having a beer around a campfire. These were the moments that brought him happiness and created lasting memories with the people around him.

He is survived by Marie, Angie, and Chris, as well as by his siblings, Larry Mikrut, Martin Mikrut, Pamela Anderson, and Deanna Szabo. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude for the time they shared with him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Clement Mikrut and Leona Mikrut.

A memorial gathering will be held on November 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home, 14522 S Western Ave, Posen, Illinois 60469.

David’s life was marked by the work of his hands, the enjoyment he found in the outdoors, and the companionship he shared with others. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
