Dane Colman Schick, age 85, born in Logan, KS former resident of Chicago, IL, Destin, FL, late of Peotone, IL; beloved husband of the late Francine "Fran" nee Santori; cherished father of Dennis (Bonnie) and Dianne (Stephen Lipinski); loving grandfather of Jonathan, Kimberly (Michael Cleveland), Alan Schick, Theresa (Patrick Ham), Jaclyn (Dean Lubus) and Stephanie Lipinski; great-grandfather of Olivia and Bennett Cleveland, Cole Ham, Adrienne and Lucy Lubus; brother of Carol (Ira Dodd), Becky Bean, Dixie Geary, Lynn (Ken Calhoun), Lila (Dick Hamit), Max (Norma), Lavon (Sherry), Rob (Judy) Schick, the late Alvin, and Patricia Kreuger; cousin, nephew and friend to many. Dane was a Member of the American Legion Destin Post 296 and Peotone Post 392. Professionally, Dane was a carpenter by trade and worked for Egert & Sons in Blue Island and later for HydroStop in the Maintenance Division.

Funeral Tuesday 9:45 a.m. from Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home to Saint Damian Roman Catholic Church for a public Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Private interment service at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Alsip, IL. Visitation private.
